A first for the festival
There is something for everyone at this year’s Earl’s Court Festival. It is not just about music and drama, but we do have a lot to
offer to those interested in literature as well. We are delighted to announce
the launch of two great events which will be inaugurated by ex Labour MP Tony
Benn and the ex Liberal Democrat Leader Sir Paddy Ashdown.
It is a great honour to have such leading political figures at the Festival. We
are sure this will help the Festival herald the start of a new literary
platform for national and international authors in your very own Earl's Court.
‘A Fortunate Life’ is Sir Paddy Ashdown’s latest book which he will be discussing at the Marriott Hotel, Cromwell Road
on 6th July 2009. The book reading session by Tony Benn will be held at The
Mosaic Rooms in Earl’s Court on 8th July 2009, where the Mr Benn will be reading a few interesting
sections from his latest work ‘A Letter to My Grandchildren’.
So don’t miss this opportunity to meet these great political figures, who are sure to
conquer the gathering with their strong personalities.
We would like to thank The Mosaic Rooms and the Marriott Hotel for kindly
agreeing to host these events.
